Affiliation

While River of Life solely exists to build the Kingdom of God and edify the Body of Christ, it is also a member of the Church of God with headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee, and all of our members are, as a result, members of the Church of God.  With that in mind, all form and function of the local church falls under the authority, covering, covernment, doctrine and dicipline of the Church of God.

• Serves as "seatbelts" and "Airbags" 
• provides ministerial credentialing. 
• Appoints local church pastors. 
• Holds joint title to all local church property. 
• Receives a tithe (10%) for administration, home and foreign missions. 
• Provides an abundance of opportunities for leadership training, student ministries, mission work, education, etc.
